PHOTOGRAMMETRY

 

These photogrammetric models are made from stitching still images together from a short drone flight. The drone follows a flight path that scans the lot and periodically takes photos at different angles. In the image above, a 3D asset generated from Revit (though could be any CAD model) is being displayed in a ghosted view mode over the photogrammetric model. The sun angle and shadows visible in the model are actually being cast by the local Sun plugin, in this case inside of Rhino 3D.
