Raised in Santa Fe, NM, Rajah grew up among the mountains and desert. He completed the IB program at the UWC Adriatic in Italy, before completing his B.Arch from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, CA.

Rajah has been involved in a wide range of architectural project types that span from resort/hospitality, office design, and residential, both large and small. Rajah has worked at companies such as AirBnb, Dolby, OZ Architecture, which has provided him with a wider view on architecture. StudioBOSE was founded in the wake of covid, “the great homecoming,” and a return to New Mexico, where there is a culture of pioneering new ways of living in extreme environments.

Rajah has a particular interest in the future of sustainable design, and how we can combat the rising global temperates, forest fires, droughts…to name a few. At the core of studioBOSE, there is a passion for understanding new (and old) materials, systems, and techniques to address these concerns. Rajah has experience with structures made from AAC block, adobe, prefabricated steel, and wood frame, and heavy timber, and various forms of prefabrication. He also has a deep love for discovering and leveraging new technology to do better design, such as photogrammetry, digital fabrication (3D printing, laser cutting, CNC router), and believes these will be part of the future of construction.

While architecture is his ultimate passion - music, graphic design, product design, and photography are skills that he is constantly honing and which contribute to overall holistic nature of all good design.

Currently studioBOSE is based in Santa Fe, NM, where they focus on primarily residential projects, . They also have ongoing projects in Colorado and Montana, and Jamaica, to name a few. He has a lovely girlfriend Lorraine, who is also a fellow architect, and two dogs, Gracie & Cleo.
